hi john and welcome.
I saw buzzards each time i was there, but yesterday I think i was being followed by one as everytime i looked around there was a male buzzard nearby.
I think it was the local male that nested in that area of kildare and still stays around even now in the winter. The local hooded crows dont like him though as they are always giving him a hard time. I saw him put in a good effort at a young rabbit one evening over the summer. would be nice to see him actually take one to and see how big a rabbit he would tackle.
