Hi all
Im asking for your help in locating my lost bird ( male goshawk ).
He went missing on the 1st of september in the piltown / owning area of kilkenny. He has a leg bell attached and a yellow transmitter on the other leg. On losing him that afternoon i have not been able to pick up a signal on my reciever. The tracking freqency is 216.000.
Its likely the batterys have exausted at this stage so my only hope in locating him would be that if someone was to see him and ring me on
( 087 9552392 ) day or night.

Thanks in advance guys and girls.

Dave,
I hope you find your bird soon! Try contacting your National parks and wild life ranger. I have found them quite interested in birds of prey.

Hi,
Thanks for sharing this information about the birds of prey.
I lost my first Kestrel when I had him for about six weeks and he was only half trained. Heartbreaking does not describe it. 4 magpies chased him so he did not have a chance to take to my lure to which I had been training him for about a week and he was just starting to respond.

I still see him around the Lucan area. Make me proud he survived for the past five yeasr now.

Best of luck on your bird.
